Lori: Thanks, Lori. We're really looking forward to seeing where this goes. Thanks also for the kind words on your site. That was unexpected and really sweet.

    Hayden: Isn't it though?

Patricia: Thanks for the support, Patricia.

    Miguel de Luis: Thanks, Miguel!

Melissa: Eric and I have been trying to slip the word into the collective unconscious for the last couple of months. Maybe it's finally working. : > )

Jamie: Thanks for the compliments, Jamie. You've seen a bit of behind the scenes so you know the road's been constant. We will indeed endeavor to change Blogopolis for the better.
  • Wow, is it unveiling time already? I think I lost a few weeks somewhere! All I can say is that I am pleased as punch to see this dream accomplished. You've both worked hard, and this new endeavor holds great promise for you both. It has the mark of blessing all over it.

I am so proud of you both, Eric and Sean. Now go change Blogopolis for the better, will ya?

  • I've only seen one other true video blog, and it was great, so I'm looking forward to checking this out. And funny thing... just the other day I was thinking about the word "blogopolis" - and voila! Here it is. Thought I might have made it up but I guess not .

Dave: That works. You could also say that our collaboration is the shizzah.

Matthew: Thanks, Matthew. We'll definitely get better as we go along. We've had some connection issues that didn't get quite ironed out until the final moments. I do indeed speak like I write.

Mike: Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, we wanted to add another dimension, not dim the writing. I generally don't care for video as much either, but I do believe it has possibilities, and I would like to learn as much as I can.

Charlie: Great job on getting started! I actually took my first break from writing this last two weeks after a full year of non-stop daily exercise. It's slow going getting back, but I'll be flying by tomorrow I think.

Marc: That is very kind, thank you. We're all in it together, I appreciate you coming along.
  • As you already know from a previous visit to my site, I've already put you up as role model for method blogging! I can only say great timing for this new venture of yours; as well as providing my sincerest good luck wishes.

I'm certainly going to be following the Blogopolis via RSS and Twitter. Onwards and upwards!

  • Good luck in 2009! I think it's gonna be a good year too. (One of my new year's resolutions involves making actual progress on writing this year. I got a good start last night. Hope it keeps up!)

  • Best of luck on it. Looks good.

I liked the video, and I don't generally care for video blogging. If you had gone to just video, I would not have subscribed.

  • I was definitely not expecting the video blogs. That's a nice touch. I'd highly recommend getting a higher quality provider though - or make sure of YouTube's HD quality video (a new feature - hit me up in email for more information about that, and other tips about YouTube).

    You talk like you write.

  • That is the Mac Daddy (is that the right 'street' expression?) of a collaboration!!

    Well done you two.

Happy New Year to you both.
