I voted a few days ago and didn’t even realise I could vote ore than once. I guess I was skim reading that day. ;-)
Anyway I’ve been back and voted again today and will go back every day.
If everyone of your RSS readers did the same you’d easily win this, but as things stand you have a little catching up to do. I’m not saying this to bring you down, it’s more to highlight what needs to be done in order to get you this writing job.
For what it’s worth, I believe you deserve it.

Dave: tsp, tsp, see that’s why you shouldn’t scan. Though if it makes you feel any better, I’ve completely lost the ability to read without scanning. Hopefully that is a bad habit that won’t stay with me forever.

You may consider emailing many people you know and asking them for this one small favor. That could help beyond the obvious of using twitter and your blog.

and I was working to get 1000 folks to do my daughter’s graduate school on line art survey….I was not very good at it I only got her 131 usable surveys….many folks did not complete the required questions…
I hope I get more recipes….I am sure there are lots of hungry children who need some food this time of the year…

I am trying to get everyone to submit a recipe and a picture of their favorite fall food for my UNICEF e-book project Nov 1…..
and I was working to get 1000 folks to do my daughter’s graduate school on line art survey….I was not very good at it I only got her 131 usable surveys….many folks did not complete the required questions…
I hope I get more recipes….I am sure there are lots of hungry children who need some food this time of the year…
