You have captured the essence of writing for me. I have found that it’s not that I experience writer’s block too often, but that it’s getting me to focus. Once I’m in the grove my writing will flow. However, first I have to check my email, then my other email account, then search something on Google, oh–and I’ve got to check out so-and-so’s new post. And on and on and on. In fact recently I realized that my complaints about not having enough time are not always valid because even when I do have time I get distracted. I totally relate to this post as I’m sure so many writers do as well. This is real life. You captured it.

Kyddryn: I’m glad you’ll get it when it’s fresh. Nothing’s as sour as a week old post.

Wendi: I will check Amazon today, and I promise to continue to just write. I wrote today about something that happened yesterday afternoon. If felt immediate, in the moment, and wonderful.

Robin: It is being flexible. I just don’t want to bend TOO far.

Pick which ever one speaks to you first. Then just keep getting them and read them all.

I feel for you. As you know we are in the same boat. Alex gave me some really good advice and I am taking it and I give it to you. Just spend a certian amount of time each day just doing it.

I also add her advice. Just show up each day to the page and do it. Write IN the moment. Which you did. That was very real. Great job.

Third-Don’t worry about writing the great post or Novel- Just write.
We promise to read it.
