• Hi Monika!

Nice to see you. Thanks for the compliments and support. I'm definitely ready to rock and roll. Nice to see you born again on Twitter.
  • Hi Sean,

I'm excited to see your progress and find you all around the web these days. It is just another great testimonial to your awesome abilities as a writer. Love your new site and love the domain. Rock on!

Rita: Apologies aren't necessary for well wishes. The 25th is far enough in my past to be given no breath by my regular thought, but has not gained enough distance to rinse the fact that it was the single most negative experience I've had in six months spent online, both warping my previous impression of a particular person, and shattering my hope for something I poured a significant of time and resources into (besides being led to believe it had a future). The only emails I don't answer are the ones that tell me to stay far, far away.
  • Oh, and Sal, I am comforted in knowing that some things never change. You read something and decide you are the public arbiter of what you read. You're still an ass. :-)

  • Sean,
My sincerest apologies. I read on Barb's site that you were "getting close to being published." I just assumed that with your innate talents that the statement was true, and I got terribly excited for you. As for October 25th, that is SO far in my past as to being as close to unmemorable as any day in my life - until you mentioned the date just now, and I realize that the REAL thing I lost that day was a very, very good friend by saying words to you out of pain and anger. I'm over the 25th - I'm not over the damaged (or, I would assume, destroyed) friendship that preceded it.

This was my way of extending my hand in joy at what I thought was your personal triumph - and in the most public way in which I could do so. I had intended to congratulate you privately, but I was uncertain if you would respond. Now I feel like a fool.

I AM sorry Sean - and yes, if I had to do it all over again, I most definitely would have done it differently - and better. With you. ONLY with you.

    Rita

@GWD....HAAHAAHAAHAA!!!! Now we just need to get you a major motion picture deal. What do you think, Jeff Goldblum as Sean Platt? Ok, maybe not, but I'll send it off and see what I can come up with.

Sal: When you can't get ink down on the page, who you gonna call? GHOST WRITER DAD!

Eric: Thanks, Eric. I couldn't be more excited.

Hayden: I only sleep on Sundays. The digital smack down is laid.

Lori: Ah, Lori. My constant cheerleader. Thanks for the support, and the alliteration.

Janice: Don't worry, you don't need to add Ghostwriter Dad to a reader or anything. Tis just a sales page.

Karen: Thanks, Karen. Give the boys giant hugs and tell them we miss them too!

Rita: Hi Rita. I have no idea what you mean. I am no closer to getting published than I was on October 25. If anything, such possibility seems further away.
  • Hi Sean,
I just learned that you are on your way to getting published, and I wanted to give you a heart-felt, honest and hearty CONGRATULATIONS! Given that I've been on hiatus, I'd be thrilled if you emailed me and let me know the details, so that I can follow your hard-won success.
Happy days for you and Daisy - and Hallelujah!
    Best,
    Rita

(By the way, I hope there weren't too many "H's" above. I just re-read what I wrote and had a good, old-time, "insider" chuckle... :-) )

  • I know no better writer to make the words of another shine. You're a magician with vocabulary and you have a great passion to go with it. I know you'll do well and I look forward to seeing your writing success. Eric

As I told you before, the site looks great Sean, but for some reason there is one theme song stuck in my head....

    "Who ya gonna call?....."

Go on, you know you want to finish it, green slimy thing, marshmellow man and all. :)
